PROJECT 2

One of the two basic projects that make up a building is the architectural project and the other is the static project. The target in an architectural project is to plan the building according to user wishes and needs. In the static project, the goal is to realize the architectural project.

The architect designs in detail the spaces that will meet the needs and demands of the building to be built, their relationships with each other, their proportions and external appearance. It draws separate floor plans for each different floor of the building. It refers to floor plans in the direction that they cut from the top of the floor and look downwards. In the floor plan, stairs, walls, doors, windows and coating types are detailed along with their dimensions. Columns, beams and floors for the load-bearing system are not shown in the architectural project. (The carrier system is designed by civil engineers with a static project, as we will discuss below.)

Architectural Project; It includes the site plan of the building showing its location on the land, floor plans, all facade views, at least two vertical sections and the roof plan. These projects are organized in the form of sheets showing detailed measurement, elevation and material information. Static and architectural projects can be prepared in scales such as 1/100, 1/50, 1/25.

Static Project; These are all floor plans, including the basement floor, roof plans, their cross-sections, details and calculations, prepared by civil engineers in accordance with the architectural project, with scales determined according to the size and characteristics of the building, showing the load-bearing systems of reinforced concrete, masonry, steel and similar structures according to their types. In these calculations, in determining the physical parameters of the soil, soil-foundation-structure interaction and foundation design, the standards containing engineering services and the "Principles on the Preparation of Soil and Foundation Investigation Reports" published by the Ministry are complied with. Civil Engineers cut floor plans from the top of the slab and express it in the direction it faces upwards.

The static project is prepared by static project companies that have an authorization certificate from the Chamber of Civil Engineers. In order to obtain a building license, architectural, static, mechanical and electrical projects must be prepared under the coordination of the architect and approved by the relevant municipality.

The structure of the static project varies depending on whether the carrier system material to be used is reinforced concrete or steel. In general, the sheets contain the foundation, floor equipment plans, column application, foundation and floor beam expansions and all their calculations, iron lengths, diameters, numbers and locations. While iron diameters are expressed in mm, the project measurement unit is cm.

The project is presented with cover page information on the letterhead of the company that prepared it. On the cover page, information about the building and its owner is given.

Accurate reading as well as preparation of the static project is an issue that must be followed seriously.
